The Stairway in The Woods

Been awhile, oh well.

So I passed all my classes this semester as well and I'm now on summer vacation. I thought my math class was hard all semester long but I was pretty stunned at my 89% then my 91% then 85% test scores, then I took the final exam and got an 89%, combined with all my homework and mathxl I got an 83% in the class, that what uh a B maybe B+? Not bad. Psychology was a little tougher (yes it was psych, not phil, was a shock for me the first day of class too.)it was a tough class. It delt heavily in memorization of diagnosis and brain functions and anatomy etc. I did a report on memory for the class and I scored LOW on the working memory AKA Short-term memory. The professor went over this in class and what this generally means is a low working memory has a lower capacity of information that can be stored to long-term. A lot of things are affected by this such as MATH, while you are doing a math problem you HEAVILY use short term memory counting in your head, keeping track of formula steps etc, even if you have memorized the math steps/formulas well into long term memory you may still have trouble.

So pretty interesting things, it greatly helps your learning career finding out how well your short-term memory is and also your long-term memory. For me when working a complex equations with a million steps I need to write down the numbers I'm crunching in my head as I go so if I forget I don't have to start over.

I guess all this can't mean that much, I got a C in the class lol.

Great news

I had to go to my dumb monthly meeting with a counselor, they gave me a strict one this time, he saw I had skipped my other monthly meetings and gave me a lecture, I just told him I forgot, and he said he wasn't sure he should remove the block on my class registration, ... uh ok? So no classes next semester? Then he started asking what I planned to 'do' with my diploma and after I graduate. Probably the same thing I'm doing now. "So why are you in college??" Do I need a reason to want to learn something?? That was kind of a weird moment, but I guess he liked my answer and we started talking about what classes I needed to take. I thought I needed 3 more math classes he said Nope, all you need is math 123 and you are all done with your math credits. WHAT?!?!?!?!? Bonus! So he removed the block and signed me up for Math 123 and Philosophy: Intro to ethics.

Also good news (to me atleast)
Josh Jamie and adam all planned to move to utah because they "Had to get out of this stupid crummy town of idaho falls." So whatever I guess, if they think a plane will get the sand out of their shoes, be gone! After a week with josh and jamie adam got a reality check and noticed how stupid of an idea it was. I'm not sure if he is just following my crazy banter or if its coincidence but now he wants to go to ISU get a motorcycle and we just made him lead singer of our imaginary band called the "Crocodillies." Now our two drummer, two back-up singer band has a real voice, we made him double as basses guitar too.

He is still considering our business proposal. Our future Ultra-light aircraft touring idea is sure to make it big, especially after we build the mobile aircraft carrier and attach floats to all the ultra-lights. Rhys wants to go into ultra-light stunt planes, I'm, not to sure, I still want to try my jet-powered ultra-light, the wuss said fabric wings wouldn't hold up, he's so narrow minded.
